n is an experimental novella told from multiple perspectives about the transformation of our society to one run by a cybernetic autocracy in a harrowing near-future. Although a revolution has rendered currency valueless and replaced it with user-inputted loops of musicdata; the characters find themselves still struggling to escape the clutches of cyberocracy. A mysterious kid appears in the city and all are surveilled by agents of the University. They tell their collective story in union, without knowing they are doing so or what is happening; as it becomes a self-reflexive journey into the depths of human consciousness.
